The Topics

inhale + exhale 2019is centered around the ideals of self-transformation and self-empowerment.

Throughout the events of this retreat—from inspiring speakers to meals to yoga sessions—we will be reflecting on the intention behind

each moment, our true self-care, and what we put in and on our bodies. This includes your thoughts and how you feed your soul!

This is a time to both explore and reflect on how to carry out your intentions, beliefs, and values in practice.

You can expect to review your belief system and values in a way that will encourage

healing, transformation, and self-empowerment.

We are so excited to have gathered together wise and compassionate teachers who will guide you to:

-understand your values and their connection to your joy

-be intentional about what you create

-let go of un-serving, negative, and false beliefs

-be vulnerable, safely

-own who you are

-shine your brightest whatever your circumstances

-nourish yourself with healthy food, movement, and conversation

-cultivate a practice of inner peace

...so you can discover the things that mean the most to you, and learn how to activate the strongest parts of yourself towards creating a magical life.

The Leaders

inhale + exhale invites women who have inspired us with their courage and experiences to share their stories and expertise at our retreats. From risk-takers and entrepreneurs; to certified coaches, yoga instructors, thrivers and survivors of all sorts of experiences, we offer content that is deeply moving and highly relevant to women looking to meet the challenges of life without leaving themselves behind.

Kelly Hand

Coach

Kelly Hand, CPCC, is dedicated to those dedicated to change and purpose in their life. She holds a safe and courageous space for her clients to explore what is here now, what they are growing into, and whom they are becoming. The coaching relationship creates a new opportunity, refreshingly distinct from previous negative thoughts and behavioral patterns.

As a professionally trained leadership and executive coach, Kelly listens deeply and looks for the next opening, moving both coach and client beyond the work of ‘figuring it out’ – creating both awareness and movement in an individual’s whole life: health, work, relationships and beyond. Sessions can create such outcomes as gaining new perspectives and new ways of relating to one’s life, processing present and deep emotions, removing blocks, gaining clarity on goals, life purpose and so much more, allowing a transformation into a new way of being.

Dr. Amber Kirk

Perspective-bringer

Dr. Amber Kirk has been working in the Health and Wellness industry for over 20 yrs. She is an avid educator on how the body works so consumers can make the easiest, simple health choices to repair and regain their human body ecosystem back into balance, homeostasis. It’s not just about the food and exercises we choose, it’s the ongoing state of our thoughts, emotions, and traumas that drive the subconscious that determines the biology to be expressed. Looking at the physical movement patterns, chemical nutrients/toxins we ingest, the emotional/cognitive patterns we choose and the spiritual awareness to optimize the organic human body expression while you journey on planet Earth.

The Meals

Maria is a personal chef and mama of 3 based in Victoria, BC.

“I am a person who loves the beauty of food, mostly plants but I resist labels and categories, what's most important to me is to make and eat real food that is grown, harvested and prepared with consideration and love. I believe that preparing food is part of a larger process of nourishing our bodies and goes far beyond calories. I create nourishment that sustains our bodies but also uplifts and heals our spirits.

As a personal chef, I strive to build meals for clients that always give more than what appears on the surface, incorporating ingredients to address health concerns, inflammation or food sensitivities. Hunger goes far beyond food and I strive to build meals that quiet that hunger with whole food ingredients prepared for all your senses.
